The Towering Pasticcio

As a kick off exercise, The Towering Pasticcio is a fast, furious and large scale collective project. It is, essentially, a kind of giant sized, architectural exquisite corpse - the surrealist game that constructed figures of disparate body parts. Or a contemporary version of John Soane’s Capriccio - the column of fragments he made for the courtyard of his home. Both create singular objects out of non-similar elements. Both rely on differences between elements (of biology, of profession, of as well as a concern for how one piece meets another).
